We help individuals and businesses resolve IRS tax problems, including back taxes, tax liens and levies, wage garnishments, and audits. Our team negotiates directly with the IRS on your behalf to find solutions such as installment agreements, offers in compromise, innocent or injured spouse, etc.
Unlike national “1-800” tax mills, McClure & Stewart is a local firm that treats every case with personal attention. You’ll work directly with experienced professionals – not get lost in a call center. We pride ourselves on honesty, transparency, and results.
Yes. The IRS has broad power to garnish wages, levy bank accounts, and place liens on your property. Ignoring letters only makes the problem worse. Acting quickly gives us the best chance to protect your finances and negotiate a fair resolution.
Qualification depends on your unique financial situation – including income, expenses, assets, and the amount you owe. Our team offers a free consultation to review your case and determine what your next best steps are.

Absolutely! Your privacy is our top priority. All information you share with McClure & Stewart is protected and handled with the utmost confidentiality. We will not share any information with the IRS without your prior approval.
Every case is different, and costs depend on the complexity of your situation. After your consultation, we’ll provide a transparent quote so you know exactly what to expect.
It depends on the case. Some issues can be resolved in a matter of weeks, while others can take several months. The timeline depends on the IRS response times, the type of resolution pursued, and the complexity of your financial situation.
While most of our cases involve the IRS, we can also assist with Utah State tax agencies to help resolve back taxes, garnishments, or liens at the state level. Our attorneys are unable to provide assistance with state taxes in states other than Utah.
The first step is scheduling a free consultation. We’ll review your IRS notices, discuss your situation, and explain your possible resolution options. From there we’ll create a strategy to protect you and work toward resolving your tax debt.
